Terms & Conditions
Last updated: May 2026
By booking your dog with Wuffer & Co, you agree to the following terms. These are here to protect your dog, us, and to make sure everyone knows what to expect.
1. How we care for your dog
Your dog joins our daily life. That includes walks, trips out, car journeys, visits to beaches, hills, parks, shops, and other outdoor activities. Your dog will not be left alone at home for extended periods — they come with us.
By booking with us, you acknowledge and accept that these activities carry inherent risks, including but not limited to: injury during walks or exercise, interaction with other animals, travel by car, exposure to weather, and access to outdoor environments. We take every reasonable precaution to keep your dog safe, but we cannot eliminate all risk.
2. Your responsibilities
- Your dog must be up to date with vaccinations (including kennel cough) and flea/worming treatments
- You must have valid pet insurance for your dog and provide details at booking
- You must tell us about any medical conditions, behavioural issues, allergies, or medications
- You must provide accurate emergency contact details and your vet's details
- Your dog must be sociable and safe around people and other dogs
3. Our responsibilities
- We will care for your dog as if they were our own
- We will follow any feeding, medication, or care instructions you provide
- We will contact you immediately if your dog becomes unwell or is injured
- In an emergency, we will seek veterinary treatment without delay — you authorise us to do so and agree to cover the costs
- We hold public liability insurance and care, custody & control cover
4. Veterinary treatment
If your dog requires veterinary attention while in our care, we will contact you as soon as possible. If we cannot reach you, we will act in your dog's best interest and seek treatment. You agree to reimburse any veterinary costs incurred. We recommend your pet insurance covers third-party care.
5. Liability
While we take every reasonable care, Wuffer & Co is not liable for any illness, injury, or death of your dog that occurs despite reasonable precautions, including during walks, travel, outdoor activities, or interaction with the environment. This includes risks inherent to the activities described in section 1.
If your dog causes injury to a person or another animal, or causes damage to property, you are responsible for any resulting costs or claims.
6. Meet & greet
All dogs must have a meet & greet before their first stay. This is free and gives us a chance to make sure your dog is happy with us and we're a good fit. We reserve the right to decline any booking if we feel it's not the right match.
7. Bookings & cancellations
- Bookings are confirmed once agreed in writing (email or message)
- We appreciate as much notice as possible for cancellations
- Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice may be charged at 50%
- We reserve the right to cancel a booking if circumstances change — we'll give you as much notice as we can
8. Collection & drop-off
Agreed times for drop-off and collection should be kept where possible. If you're running late, please let us know. Persistent late collection may incur an additional charge.
9. Belongings
Please label any items you leave with us (leads, beds, toys, food). We'll take care of them but cannot be held responsible for damage or loss.
10. Photos & social media
We may take photos of your dog during their stay for our records or to share with you. We'd love to share photos on our website or social media — we'll always ask your permission first.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll let you know of any significant changes.
These terms are intended to be fair and transparent. If you have any questions, just ask — we're happy to talk through anything.
